Wild Black Range

Black Range, near Bega in south-eastern Australia, is a place of views, forests and wildlife. From a small cabin on the range, Matthew Higgins takes the viewer on a journey. The journey ranges from wonderful landscapes to wombats, eagles to lyrebirds and butterflies, glorious trees to goannas, falcons to finches, a painting of the cabin’s vista, and ending with twilight bats and a full moon rising. On the soundtrack, birdcalls meet Beethoven (with thanks to friend Gabrielle Hyslop on the piano playing the beautiful Moonlight Sonata).
